Roughening dense concrete floors
For roughening dense concrete floors, various patterns can be sawed. Standard grooves and slots are ground or sawed at 5mm with a spacing of 8mm. By grinding grooves or slots into the concrete floor, the contact area with the floor is reduced, which increases the pressure where you still make contact with the floor, thereby reducing the risk of slipping.
